If you have even an hour now and then to drive to the grocery store, change a lightbulb, deliver a meal, walk a dog or make a telephone call, you can make a difference! You'll not only make life easier for a neighbour, but meet new friends and know that you are joining a team that is making an important contribution to the community (see Volunteer Benefits for volunteering can do for you).
If you want to volunteer, please complete the application form below. You will receive a confirmation email and we will review your application and email you a "Volunteer Agency Letter" which will exempt you from the fees normally charged by the RNC. You will then need to apply for and provide us with a Criminal Record Screening Certificate and Vulnerable Sector Check from the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC).
Please complete the application for "Criminal Records Screening Certificate & Vulnerable Sector Check". For "Reason for request" select "Volunteer" and attach the "Volunteer Agency Letter" we emailed you.
Following your submission, the RNC will process your application (may take up to 4 weeks) and send the Certificate directly to us.
As soon as we have received the Certificate we will continue processing and approving your application. We will confirm your approved status and invite you to our next volunteer orientation session.
