The Co-operative currently offers and develops the following services:
Free services for the public (see events for current schedule):
Chair Yoga & Arthritis Exercise (in cooperation with Silver Threads 50+ Club)
Ongoing - Mondays and Fridays, 11am - 12:30pm. It is a 1 hour Excercise DVD and 1/2 hour of Chair Yoga (a gentle form of yoga that's done while seated or using a chair for balance, makes the practice more accessible).
Koffee Klatsch
Ongoing - Mondays and Fridays, 9am - 10:45am; Thursdays, 7pm - 9pm. Drop in at the Silver Thread Building in Pouch Cove for a cup of coffee or tea, chat or play the occasional game with us, your friends, the sporadic stranger, or just sit and enjoy the view.

Services for Shareholders:
- Participation in governance of the co-op (decision-making, voting, election to the board of directors).
- MemberNews: News from members and for members; news about governance of our co-operative, services for social and full members, and community events.
Seniors' Centre Without Walls
Ongoing - We have partnered with The Good Companions to establish a phone based group session program: Seniors' Centre Without Walls.
This call-in social and educational program is brought to you by Thomas Mengel, Pouch Cove. Currently, each Tuesday, 3pm, and Friday, 10am, Thomas will engage you in different activities. Connecting is easy either with your phone or your computer (click here for more details and our current schedule).

Additional Services for Social Members:
- Health and wellness programs: Engage in facilitated conversations with guest speakers, health info sessions, exercise classes with instructors, hobby classes, etc.
- Educational services and programs: Participate in adult learlning courses, temed discussions, guest speakers, and other learning opportunities
- Social activities and events: Join others for playing games regularly, walking groups, instructor lead hobby and fitness groups, and other activities

Additional Services considered for Full Members:
- Help with household chores and light repairs at home: organizing a closet and runs to the thrift store, taking trash out, grocery shopping, putting away groceries, occasional spot cleaning, change of light bulbs, light yard work, snow removal from entrance steps, etc.
- Provide access to vetted service providers: We will connect you with screened and recommended professional vendors, e.g., home care workers, nutritionists, dietitians, community health nurses, electritians, plumbers, painters, snow removal services, lawn care providers, etc.
- Assist with transportation services: Let volunteer drivers take you to medical appointments, shopping, bank, postoffice, hair dresser, meetings, community events, KCN social activities, etc.
- Friendly visits and calls: check-in phone calls, in-home visits, phone buddy conversations, chatting and sharing stories, reading, games, help taking notes at the doctor's office, help make lists of questions for the doctor, help with follow up advise. WE WILL NOT PROVIDE MEDICAL CARE OR ASSIST WITH PERSONAL CARE!
- Help with computer and other technology: Simple problem solving with and helping you use your electronic devices—computers, phones, tablets, social media help, video conferencing
- Support with pet care: Walk or feed your pet when you are temporarily indisposed or away for a short time.
- One-stop access to all available services: Contact us through one phone number, one email address, one website.
Services depend on the availability of volunteers and other resources. Our programming can be expanded or adapted as needed.
